Bianco Friulano Is No More: Welcome, Tai!

You may recall that the producers of Friuli Venezia Giulia lost the right touse the word Tocai on their labels following the EEU's decisions to assign the name to the Hungarans, and as a result had decided to call wines made from the Tocai grape Bianco Friulano, or Friulian White.

This was a frankly lame name, and I, like many others, hoped they'd better it. They have, setting upon Tai, which is Friulian for glass, of the sort you fill with a good wine and quaff from. Welcome Tai!
